Texas Bill of Sale Forms
A Texas bill of sale is a legal document that indicates the details of a sale or transaction of personal property. For example, when a person sells their vehicle, they prepare a bill of sale where they indicate essential details about it, such as the brand and type, color, price, and date of transfer.
The seller usually prepares the bill of sale. The document will have the names and signatures of the seller and buyer. A bill of sale can be used in lieu of a receipt which is technically a less formal document than a bill of sale.
