New Mexico Boat/Vessel Registration Forms

You’ll need the following documents to ensure your boat or vessel is registered according to New Mexico's state guidelines:

  • A completed and signed Application for Vessel Registration and Title (Form MVD-10003).
  • An active New Mexico driver’s license or **identification **card.
  • A finalized Bill of Sale.
  • A valid ownership document, either the transferred title or, if no title is required, the prior vessel registration.
  • Should a lien be listed on the title, a Release of Lien (Form MVD – 10041) will be required to register.
  • Funds to pay all registration fees and taxes.

New Mexico Firearm Registration Forms

In New Mexico, firearm registration or permits are not required. To purchase a firearm, pass a background check, whether from a dealer or private seller.

For concealed carry, apply for a Concealed Handgun License with these documents:

  • Completed and notarized NM Concealed Handgun License Application
  • Original** birth certificate**
  • Proof of hunter safety course completion
  • Active NM **ID **or driver’s license

  • Payment for licensure fees

New Mexico Vehicle Registration Forms

To complete vehicle registration in New Mexico after a purchase or sale, you must provide the following documents:

  • Filled Application for Vehicle Title and Registration (MVD Form 10002)
  • Reassigned title with all transfer endorsements
